Prior to joining SHELTON | MCKEAN, Mr. Akeem worked tirelessly as an Associate Public Defender in Hillsborough County. This provided him an opportunity to work closely with nearly a thousand clients on complex criminal matters. Most notably, Mr. Akeem was selected by his office to litigate on behalf of the suspect in the “Tampa Pipe Bomb” case.
